Various Acts

CFC00002 Temporary Judges Act 2000

1. This Act may be cited as the Temporary Judges Act 2000.

1.1 In this Act 'member of the Cyberian Bar' means anyone who has appeared as counsel before the Supreme Court of this Commonwealth.

2. The President may, with the approval of the Senate, appoint any member of the Cyberian Bar as a temporary judge of the Supreme Court.

3. A temporary judge serves only until the expiry of this Act or the appointment of a permanent judge, whichever first happens.

4. A temporary judge is subject to impeachment.

5. This Act commences immediately and expires on 1 June 2000.


CFC0003 Jubilee Act 2000

WHEREAS, Many developing nations are in debt, and spend a large portion of their budgets on debt repayment, thereby preventing much needed funds for internal appropriation;

Be it resolved, that the following be agreed to:

1 Upon passage, the Minister of the Treasury of Cyberia shall forgive any and all debt incurred by
other nations that spend 20% or more of their budget on debt repayment in the Cyberian Treasury.

1 Any future extra-national loan to a foreign state shall require the express authorisation of the majority of the National Assembly; no loan nor money may be unilaterally set aside by the Minister of the Treasury or any other Executive Officer for the purposes of disbursement to a foreign state.


CFC00004 Community Investment Tax Credit Act 2000

Be it enacted by the National Assembly of the Commonwealth of Cyberia:

1 Any taxpayer or community development agency who holds a
community investment shall receive a 25% tax credit on said investment if --

1.1 substantially all of such investment is used by the community development agency to make improvements on existing housing for low-income residents, or to construct new housing for this purpose,

1.2 substantially all of such investment is used by the community development agency to make
low-income business or commercial investments,

1.3 substantially all of such investment is used by the community development agency to provide job
training programs for individuals in low-income communities.


CFC02-001 Be it enacted by the National Assembly as Chapter 633:

633.1 Cyberia's virtual location is in the Atlantic Ocean in the region of Nassau.

633.2 Cyberia's timezone is GMT+6 and all transactions, forums and eGroups must be set to that time.

633.3 Cyberia has the geography, climate, weather, fauna and flora (including the salty dog and the skunk ape) appropriate to its location.

633.4 There is to be a Cyberian Weather Agency within the Ministry of the Interior which must publish regular reports on geological and weather events in Cyberia.

National Symbology Act 2004

Be it enacted by the National Assembly of the Commonwealth of Cyberia, that a National Symbol and a National Anthem be selected & adopted. It is proposed that:

1. The National Assembly establish a nationwide competition to create a National Symbol (Arms) & a National Anthem for the Commonwealth. The rules of the competition shall be:

(a) The competition shall last for a period not exceeding 1 month from the establishment of the commitee.

(b) The entries for the National Symbol may be of an original design or of an existing design with a minimum of 2 points of difference.

(c) The entries for the National Anthem may be an original composition or an existing composition providing the it is not in use with another micro- or macronation

(d) The National Assembly will select 3 symbols & 3 anthems to be put forward for a National Referendum.

(e) The competition shall be open to all citizens of the Commonwealth. Each citizen may enter one (1) design for a National Symbol & one (1) composition for for a National Anthem.

2. The winning Symbol & Anthem shall be commended to the National Assembly by the Sponsor in the form of an Adoption Bill.

3. The duration of the competition shall be through 10 May, 2004.


Citizenship Validation Act 2004

Be it enacted by the National Assembly:

1. Anyone who was granted citizenship after commencement of the Open Citizenship Act 2000, is declared to have been a citizen despite any failure to take the oath or affirmation prescribed by that Act or any Act which amended or replaced that Act. This Act does not operate to restore the citizenship of any person removed from the electoral roll by reason of failure to vote.

2. This Act commences upon signature by the President.


Terra Novum Act 2004

Be it enacted by the National Assembly

1. The former Republic of Terra Novum is annexed to the Commonwealth.

2. Terra Novum is to form a territory under federal administration. The President may set up a territorial administration by executive order.

3. The president may transfer Terra Novum to the jurisdiction of the proposed Raspur Intermicronational Community if Cyberia ratifies the charter of the proposed community, subject to reversion on 1 months' notice if so demanded by Cyberia.
